Principal Owner
Dr. Hardik Patel
DMD
Dr. Hardik Patel is the principal owner of Dr. Patel Dentistry in Ajax. Originally from India, he moved to the Toronto area in 2004 when his family began a new life in Canada.
He completed his early dental training in India and then studied in the United States from 2009 to 2012 at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2012. He has since spent more than a decade practising general dentistry in Ontario.
Dentistry is a genuine passion for Dr. Patel rather than simply a profession. He treats patients of all ages, from young children through to seniors, and much of what he enjoys about the work is getting to know each person and helping them keep a healthy, confident smile. He has a particular interest in helping nervous patients who have put off dental care, and he established the Ajax practice on the belief that every patient deserves honest, comfortable, and high-quality care.
Away from the practice, Dr. Patel follows the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs and enjoys staying physically active.

Associate Dentist
Dr. Timothy Frauts
DDS
Dr. Timothy Frauts earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with honours before entering the dental program at the University of Toronto, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
After graduating he associated for a year and then began practising in Ajax. He has remained in the Durham region for a long career and has cared for generations of local families.
His scientific background gives him a meticulous, evidence-based approach to patient care. Dr. Frauts has pursued continuing education in endodontics and implant restorations, and has also served as a part-time instructor at a college of dental hygiene.
He is passionate about making every patient feel informed and comfortable, and takes pride in building trust through transparency, clear communication, and a gentle chairside manner.
